ABOUT

Built for the real world.

We make developer tools that tell the truth — about what your app did, who's using it, and the conditions it actually runs in. No fibre-city assumptions, no fake scale, no theatre.

Why we build this way

Most observability tools are designed and tested where the network is fast and the phone is new. Then they meet production: a signal that drops on the train, a mid-range Android two OS versions behind, a checkout that has to survive the connection cutting out mid-request. A tool that quietly assumes perfect conditions is the tool that loses your data exactly when you needed it most.

TillPulse starts from the other end. Events are captured offline and flushed in order when the network returns. Battery cost is bounded. Native crashes, frame jank, and ANRs are first-class on Android API 24+ and iOS. Stack traces are deobfuscated server-side, so you get a real frame instead of a ProGuard blur, and events stay in the region they came from. It works when conditions are good — and keeps working when they aren't.

That resilience is a floor, not the whole product. TillDev is a family: observability, authentication, security, and fast data — one workspace, one login, one honest bill. Adopt one piece or all of them; each stands on its own.

What we believe

  • Software is local. The user's reality — their device, their network, their moment — is the system, not the engineer's laptop.
  • Privacy is a feature. Two-pass scrubbing, no raw IPs in storage, no model training on your events. Defaults that protect the people you don't think about.
  • Observability is a craft. A dashboard should look like an instrument, not an ad.
  • Honesty is the whole brand. If a number appears on a TillDev page, it's real — and if we didn't have one, we don't invent it. The cost of “trusted by 10,000+ teams” is permanent suspicion, and we won't pay it.

Where we are

TillDev is built by TillAfrica, registered in Kampala, Uganda. Our team is distributed across UTC+0 to UTC+3, and our infrastructure runs in Johannesburg, Frankfurt, and Virginia — we route each customer's projects to whichever is nearest by default. We build from where we are, for anyone who ships to the real world.

TillAfrica also runs TillStudio — the web-development studio that builds sites, apps, and products for people who'd rather ship than assemble, and keeps the code on the same sovereign git that powers TillForge. Visit the studio ↗.

Status

v1.0 of the platform is live and in production with launch customers. The React Native SDK is production-ready. The Flutter SDK is in active development. The CLI ships with the public release. The companion mobile app for iOS and Android is in beta.

Open positions

We hire slowly and well. If you've shipped real software at scale — especially under the kind of conditions that punish sloppy engineering — and you care about tools that tell the truth, write to us at hello@tilldev.dev. Tell us what you've broken and what you've fixed.

Brand assets, product screenshots, and founder bios are available on request via hello@tilldev.dev.
